modern life is alienating. is technology a cause or solution? which came first, not talking to anyone bc im listening to my ipod or listening to my ipod bc i dont have anyone to talk to? is it morally wrong in some way to get emotional needs met in someway other than direct human interaction? is it better to have all needs met from within rather than relying on others for them?
